PocketGuard is a personal finance management application. This service allows users to create budgets, track their expenses, improve their financial literacy, and pay off their debts.

Product Objective: To help users understand where their money is going and provide straightforward answers to complex financial questions. All of this enables clients to spend more time living their lives and achieving their financial goals. PocketGuard is regularly featured in top publications such as Forbes, Yahoo Finance, CNBC, CNN, Investopedia and Cosmopolitan.

PocketGuard is looking for a PPC Manager (Google Ads) to be responsible for driving traffic to the product through Google Ads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Strategy Development: Plan, develop, and execute effective PPC strategies across platforms like Google Ads, Bing Ads, and social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Quora, Reddit) to achieve business goals.
  • Budget Management: Oversee and allocate budgets for PPC campaigns, ensuring optimal spend and ROI while minimizing wasted ad spend.
  • Keyword Research & Optimization: Conduct in-depth keyword research, analyze trends, and optimize campaigns for maximum performance and relevance.
  • Ad Creation & Testing: Write compelling ad copy, design A/B tests, and continuously refine ads to improve CTR (Click-Through Rate) and conversion rates.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, and third-party platforms. Provide detailed reports and actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Bid Management: Monitor and adjust bids to maximize ROI, using manual and automated bidding strategies.
  • Analytics: Ability to deliver (automate) daily spends, closely cooperate with analytics team to ensure acquisition flow metrics and insights.
  • Competitor Analysis: Research and analyze competitor strategies to identify opportunities and stay ahead in the market.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with analytics, content, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive digital marketing efforts.
  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of PPC trends, algorithm updates, and new tools to maintain a competitive edge.


Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing PPC campaigns across multiple platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, social media ads, etc.).
  • Certifications: Google Ads certification (preferred) and other relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Advertising, Facebook Blueprint).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, interpret metrics, and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in PPC tools like Google Ads, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
  • Budget Management Skills: Experience managing large budgets and delivering measurable ROI.
  • Creative Thinking: Ability to craft engaging ad copy and visuals that resonate with target audiences.
  • Communication & Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting, presenting, and collaborating with teams.
  • English Proficiency: Upper Intermediate or higher.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot underperforming campaigns and implement effective solutions.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, platforms, and industry changes.
